This question is already marked as solved, but nobody pressed the button yet?
Hi! I'm running into a situation where a forum post is made, somebody tried to answer the question, and after the original user tried to right click > apps > mark as solved, the bot already says it was solved (see image). Is there any way to debug this further? Can we clear out the "solved" problem state from the bot for this post?

Hmm that’s weird, mind providing a link to your server and the thread in it? I’ll check it out
thread: https://discord.com/channels/1181304501999784027/1181383646721097771
FWIW , im still building out the server, so there aren't any members yet.
oops.. linked to moderators-only, sec
< redacted, since you already joined it>
Was it marked as solved in the past and you’re trying to change the solution?
it was not marked as solved in the past
If so that’s not supported yet, which is silly I really need to add that
this was actually the 2nd time i've reproduced it
https://discord.com/channels/1181304501999784027/1181385575421460480
i created this just now (so third time reproduced)
and tried to click the "mark as resolved"
same issue
That’s really odd sorry about that - I’m giving the bot a restart now I can take a deeper look into this in about an hour
Can you check if the bot has permissions to send messages & embeds?
That shouldn’t impact it though
the role is managed by answer overflow and i haven't touched that
Does it happen the first time you use the command or the second in a thread?
so... https://www.answeroverflow.com/c/1181304501999784027 it has been working while i was playing around with it

but up until like an hour-ish ago when i made the newer forum posts
maybe i hit a free tier limit?
FWIW the OP's settings already consented in case we need that data point
also, i dont know if its related but
https://www.answeroverflow.com/m/1181356611399323669 doesn't show as "resolved" but in the discord forum, they say it's already resolved
How do I conceal my pikvm/tinypilot from my employers? - InfOE
Hi, I am using a pikvm/tinypilot to either outsource or handle hybrid OE. What are some of the steps I can take to conceal my tracks?
There’s no limits on it
I gave the bot a restart and now it can’t sign in to Discord - something’s gone a bit wrong taking a look
There’s nothing on their status page about an outage
:phew:
okay so it's neither something wrong with you, or me!
:"D
Bots back up, see if you can repro it now?
Also thisd be helpful to know
Solution
@totaldev what’d you select for your solved tag?
My guess is you selected “over employed” as the solved tag
oh sorry had to step away
checking
OH
THERE'S A SOLVED TAG
i think that was it
i didn't understand what this was
and clicked it out of habit
let me double check
😮💨 had me stressing
yes, this was the issue
thanks a lot 🙂
glad it worked out, welcome to Answer Overflow!
if i wanted to remove/clear your test forum posts, that also clears out on the web side right?
If you’ve got any feedback or need any other help in the future let me know
Yep 100% parity
Sometimes it may hang out for a little due to caching - we’re also going to add a few helper commands like a force sync command
definitely! thanks for being active 🙂
