per-thread opt-in?
similar to questionsIs it possible to opt-in to message indexing as opposed to display? but coming from a different place.
i floated the idea of setting up answeroverflow in a server i'm in and the following concerns were raised
having a way for someone with a "support" role to mark a thread as legitimate before indexing would absolutely alleviate those concerns

Do we have control over what data is searchable? My concerns are:
1) If someone opens a support post and talks about piracy related actions and we end up banning them.
2) Staff tries to help some in a support post and the user is just rude, dismissive, or just wants to fight.
