"You must give the bot 'Create Invite Permission' but I already have
The first time I tried to enable on one of our forum channels I got this pop-up attached.
However, when joining the bot to the server I gave it every permission it requested and then also when I saw this, made a new role with only "Create invite link" and assigned it to the bot. Do I need to do anything else? I get this error any time enabling a channel.

Maybe you denied that permission on the channel?

Sorry I'm still a bit confused. What am I supposed to do? I gave the bot a new role with create invite after onboarding it with every other permission it asked. What's left?
Channel permissions override role permissions
If you denied that permission on a channel, that needs to be allowed for the bot - in that specific channel
