Anonymous users don't work

I can't seem to enable anonymise users properly, it's on but users are still shown on the website. Site Attached is the image of it being enabled....

Solution:

There’s two scenarios this could be: 1. users in your server have previously given consent and since they have they won’t be anonymized 2. the pages are cached on answer overflow, in this case it’ll show as anonymized by tonight...

Custom domain with .support TLD

Howdy folks, Trying to use a .support TLD (e.g. example.support or subdomain.example.support) in the "Custom domain" field, but no matter how I enter it, validation fails with "Please match the requested format" Am I missing something here?...

Solution:

@DirtyJ sorry that took so long 😅 , I've put out a fix for it - go ahead and refresh then try again Please let me know if that resolves it and if you encounter any other setup issues!...

What makes a forum comment appear and not appear?

I'm able to see this while logged in: https://www.answeroverflow.com/m/1182006382459883617#solution-1183863623500693514 But on incognito/logged out, the solution's not there....

Solution:

When you’re signed in it isn’t cached, when you’re signed out it is cached

Are we able to do retroactive anonymous?

If there are already users who made posts on answeroverflow, is there a way to blanket all posts as anonymous?

It’ll apply to all pages but there’s no invalidation on the page cache atm so it might just be cached

How does AnswerOverflow determine ordering (2 part question)

part 1: how does it determine ordering for the forum/threads on the left sidebar part 2: how does it determine ordering for the messages in each forum/thread? Looking at https://github.com/AnswerOverflow/AnswerOverflow/blob/main/packages/api/src/router/messages/messages.ts#L51, it appears it just follows the ordering of whatever discord gives it, but wanted to verify here....

1. Not actually sure I think it's in order they get written to the db, there's no specific order 2. It just orders them as they're sent...

This question is already marked as solved, but nobody pressed the button yet?

Hi! I'm running into a situation where a forum post is made, somebody tried to answer the question, and after the original user tried to right click > apps > mark as solved, the bot already says it was solved (see image). Is there any way to debug this further? Can we clear out the "solved" problem state from the bot for this post?

Is it possible to opt-in to message indexing as opposed to display?

As I understand it, the user must opt-in to having their messages publicly displayed, but can only opt-out of having their messages indexed. Is there a way to add opt-in for indexing as well as display?

How to add Answer Overflow to existing threads?

I got existing threads which should be indexed and the bot can also see the threads (checked with the feature to see the server with a specific role) but I cannot select the threads when using /channel-settings - is there anything I am missing?

How do I know whether everything has been setup?

The onboarding process was quite confusing. Would be good to point out that /channel_settings is a Discord bot command and not, eg. a an addition to the URL to which you get redirected after successfully adding the bot to your server. Afterwards, I accidentally closed the tab in the onboarding process and I can't seem to get back to onboarding so I've lost the steps that need to be taken.
